2. Opening and call to order
Lance Howard called the meeting to order.
3. Reading and approval of minutes
Minutes of the June 10, 2002, meeting were read and approved.
4. Reading of Applications for Membership
None.
5. Reports of Delegates and Officers
Treasurer – Lance reported that $150 remains in the fund-raising account.
Indiana Green Party (IGP) - Lance circulated the agenda for the IGP Congress, which will be held in Indy on July 27.

8. New Business
Lance asked whether the SJVGreens should organize a local anti-war demonstration on the 9-11 anniversary. Kathleen will check to see if the City of South Bend plans an observance. We will continue discussion of this matter at our next meeting.
We also discussed supporting political candidates in the fall elections and writing letters to the editor about environmental issues.
